Event Cancellation Policy
Please read carefully.
Cancelling a Registration for an Event: If you must cancel your registration, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 719-358-4901.
If you cancel 6 or more days before the event, your registration fee will be refunded, less an administration fee of $25.
If you cancel within 5 days of the start date of an event, you will be reimbursed 50% of the registration fee. (Note: The policy for Coaching events is different; see that policy below.)
Transferring a Registration Fee: If within two (2) business days prior to the start of an event a registered attendee learns that he or she is unable to attend the event, he or she may transfer that registration fee to another presentation of the same type of event that is scheduled within 1 year of the original event date.
Designating a Substitute: Registered attendees may designate a substitute to come in their place, but they must make such arrangements with Peacemaker Ministries at least three (3) business days prior to the start date of event. In the event of a seminar that has pre-requisites, the substitute must meet those criteria.
Cancelling an Event: For a successful event, there is typically a minimum number of participants required. Three (3) weeks before the scheduled start date of an event, Peacemaker Ministries will assess registration and determine whether or not the event will proceed as planned. Event cancellations will be published on the Peacemaker Ministries web site, through social media, and through communications with the sponsoring organization of the event.
In light of this policy, we highly recommend that registrants who will travel to the event location do not make formal travel plans (e.g., buy plane tickets) until Peacemaker Ministries assesses registration attendance three (3) weeks before the scheduled start date of the event. In the event of a canceled event, Peacemaker Ministries will not reimburse registrants for travel expenses they have incurred.
Coaching Events: Since instructors are assigned to tables in advance of Coaching events, knowing the actual numbers of registrations in advance is critical. As a result, the cancellation policy for Coaching events is different. If you cancel 15 or more days before the start date of the Coaching event, your registration fee will be refunded, less an administration fee of $25. If you cancel within 14 days of the start date of a scheduled Coaching event, you will be reimbursed 50% of the registration fee.
